January
30th January 2023 – DACS Payback opens.
PLR payments made for statements issued the previous November.
Dutch PLR claims payments made.
February
24th February 2023 – DACS Payback Part 1 deadline – Provide details of your publication history.
28th February 2023 – ALCS deadline to add books and scripts – make sure your bank details are correct too.
March
2nd March 2023 – World Book Day
22 March 2023 – ALCS First Payment Distribution – Authors and contributors to books will receive general payments from ALCS. (General payments are payments that ALCS receive from other collecting societies around the world for the use of UK authors’ work in their countries).
April
14th April – DACS Payback Part 2 deadline – Provide details to complete your claim up to this date.
June
30th June 2023 – PLR UK deadline for registering all books published up to the 31st December the year before.
German PLR Claim Form to be returned to DACS.
September
ALCS Second Payment Distribution – Payments to ALCS members for visual contributions claims.
October
DACS Payback successful claims receive payments.
November
9th November 2023 – Dutch PLR scheme opens. You have until the 20th November to complete and submit your claim.
20th November 2023 – Dutch PLR closes at 5pm. You have until 5pm to ensure that your claim form is completed and submitted.
30th November 2023 – ALCS annual deadline to add UK articles, all your written journal and magazine contributions, from the last three years onto your ALCS account to ensure payment in the following March.
UK PLR annual statements are issued confirming how much you will receive the following January.
Irish PLR annual statements are issued confirming how much you will receive in December.
December
31st December 2023 – ALCS annual deadline for entering visual contribution claims.
Irish PLR payments made for statements issued in November.
